Scientific Vision

To provide excellent elementary education and learning focused on foundational literacy and psychoeducation, adaptive to the development of science and technology (IPTEKS), Islamic in character, and capable of driving meaningful change.


Program Educational Objectives (PEO) of the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program:

  • PEO 1 – Academics:
    Graduates committed to continuously developing knowledge and skills in the field of elementary education and Islamic values.

  • PEO 2 – Employability:
    Professional graduates in the field of elementary education who are capable of improving the quality of teaching and learning processes and outcomes, adaptive to educational, scientific, technological advancements, and local wisdom.

  • PEO 3 – Personal Skills:
    Graduates who actively contribute to the application of science and technology in solving educational problems in society, guided by Islamic values.


Strategies for Achieving Objectives

  • Enhancing graduate competencies as educators through the development of elementary education and learning practices.

  • Strengthening research competence by producing publications in national and international journals or proceedings.

  • Improving graduates’ competencies through continuous Islamic studies as part of the Baitul Arqam program, to reinforce professional and educational practitioner competence.

  • Implementing a curriculum that is adaptive to advancements in education, science, technology, and local wisdom, with periodic revitalization to ensure competitiveness and adaptability.

  • Optimizing graduate competencies as educators and education practitioners by producing educational works aligned with current developments.

  • Developing research competencies through conducting studies, writing research findings, and presenting or publishing them in national or international forums.

  • Increasing active involvement in the application of science and technology in society, especially to address social issues, as a means to strengthen educational practitioner competence.

  • Continuously developing graduates’ ability to uphold Islamic values in society to enhance their professional and educational capabilities.
