Surakarta – The women’s volleyball team of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) successfully won **1st Place** in the volleyball tournament held on **September 9–10, 2025**.
The team, consisting of **lecturers and educational staff of FKIP**, performed solidly throughout the matches until finally advancing to the final round. In the final match, FKIP faced a strong team from the **Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM) UMS**.
With disciplined play and good teamwork, FKIP managed to overcome the opponent’s resistance and secured the victory with a score of **25–17**. This win adds to FKIP UMS’s list of achievements in the series of sports competitions commemorating the **67th Anniversary of UMS**.
This achievement also demonstrates the spirit of togetherness between FKIP’s lecturers and educational staff in bringing honor to the faculty, not only in academics but also in sports activities and the UMS community’s unity.
